I'm a Computer Engineer undergraduate from Easton, CT studying at UConn.
Since high school, I've enjoyed building circuits and figuring out coding problems and projects! In my free time, you'll find me drawing, listening to music, playing video games with my sister, or ice skating!
My Story So Far
September, 2004
The Beginning
I was born September 14th, 2004 in Chongqing, China. When I was just a year and a half old, I was adopted by my Irish parents and lived in Ireland for 4 years along with my older sister and them. We then moved to America and have lived there ever since!
August, 2018
STEM Introduction
My freshman year of high school I had my first introduction to coding and electronics. I learned Arduino through the Sikorksy STEM Challenge and was a member for all my high school years, becoming the Co-President in my senior year.
June, 2021
New Experiences and Learning
Throughout high school, I had various jobs like a camp counselor and a McDonald's crew member. These jobs were my first exposure to the workplace and allowed me to learn many things! They taught me many skills that I value and still use today!
June, 2022
Graduation
2022 was the year I graduated Joel Barlow high school as one of the top 15 within a class of around 200 students. I came out with a passion for coding and electronics and knew I wanted to pursue the passion in college!
August, 2023
A New Start
Yet again, I became a freshman but this time at the University of Connecticut! As a proud young Husky, I learned and experinced so many new things! Python was also added to my roaster of languages and I had my first exposure to Object Oriented Programming along with Data Structures and Algorithms.
August, 2024
The Journey Continues
As a current Sophomore, I have much to learn but am already excited and passionate about the learning I have done so far. Four more languages have been added to my roaster: C, RISC-V, HTML, and CSS. Along with them, skills with Multithreading, Systems programming, operation and structure of digital systems and computers, and front-end development. My passion for circuits has also been fueled with electronics classes!

A Project I'm Proud Of:
As the Vice-President of UConn's Concrete Canoe, I'm very involved and passionate about the club! In the club, we make a canoe out of concrete (yes it does float)! Furthermore, there is a professional design paper write-up, a panel presentation, and a rowing competition where we compete as part of the Northeast Student Symposium!
